The State Black Archives, Research Center & Museum is open to visitors and researchers both by appointment and during public hours.

Walk-ins welcome!

SBARCM is open for public hours 4 days every week. If you are unable to visit during public hours, you can also contact us to schedule an appointment.

Parking

SBARCM has limited parking near the building. We can reserve spots if you notify us ahead of time.

(You also have the option to park in the University commuter lot at the Meridian and Drake intersection and walk all the way up the hill, but this is not for the faint of heart and generally not suggested for guests of SBARCM.)
